About the Poway High School  Choir Program

There is a choir for everyone!

Poway High School Choral Department has 3 choirs that meet the UC/CSU “F” requirement.  All choirs learn music theory and are performance based – meaning participation in all rehearsals, concerts and festivals is required.Scroll down to learn more about each of the choirs and our Choir Director, Ms. Schemmel

Choral students have the opportunity to audition for the Southern California Regional Honor Choir and All-State Honor Choir sponsored by the Southern California Vocal Association (SCVA) and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
